Networking

A packaged-foods maker's most useful contact might be an ingredients or packaging supplier.

Networking Across Four Sub-Sectors

A packaged-foods manufacturer’s most useful connection might be an ingredients supplier or a packaging specialist, not another packaged-foods producer. FBIA’s networking events and working groups are built around those cross-sub-sector relationships: packaged foods, beverages, ingredients and additives, and food and beverage packaging.

Alongside in-person events, members have access to a directory and online forums for finding partners between events. A strong network reduces the time it takes to find the right contact, whether that’s a supplier in a different sub-sector or a peer facing the same production challenge.
